This series of illustrations was inspired by conversations with my friends, who are also plant lovers, about the different kinds of plants we each adore. Although we all share a love for plants, our preferences vary—from my fascination with tropical plants and their bold, oversized leaves, to one friend’s passion for cacti, and another’s love for cultivating carnivorous plants in delicate glass terrariums. These differences became the starting point for this series.
