This series of illustrations is inspired by my love of collecting beautifully crafted art and handmade objects from around the world, as well as my curiosity about how artists’ studios look behind the scenes. I visited several local artists’ studios, conducted online research, and selected some of my favorites—spaces dedicated to making hats, masks, pottery, and working with plants and specimens. By closely observing these studios, I focused on capturing the small yet intriguing details within them, such as tools, materials, and textures. I then brought these elements together through rich, expressive colors to create visually engaging and atmospheric illustrations.
